Initially housed on the second floor of the City Hall building, the museum relocated to two renovated historic buildings at 200 and 202 S. Bois d’Arc Street. This move expanded its space, allowing for more extensive exhibits and events. The museum’s focus spans from pre-history to post-World War II, showcasing topics such as Native American history, early settlers, agriculture, and the Great Depression.
